Melanie Underwood is the founder of Embody Physiotherapy & Pelvic Health. She is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience, qualified from the University of Manchester in 2000, and began her career in the NHS before moving into private practice in 2004.
- Specialisms: pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder and bowel symptoms, prolapse, pregnancy and postnatal recovery, menopause, pessary fitting, and scar therapy.

Melanie is married to Pete and has two energetic young boys. She values staying active and spending time outdoors, which reinforces her belief in helping women feel strong, capable, and able to fully enjoy everyday life.
